Genesis 2:24 helps to give believers a biblical foundation of what marriage is and a clear understanding of the boundaries that should exist in a marriage: “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh."


In this episode, we’re diving into what marriage truly is, what it means to God, and why you matter more to Him than your relationship status. It might get a little spicy when we go over signs that one might be idolizing their marriage.


Marriage, at its core, is a covenant, not a contract—a reflection of God’s love and unity with His people. But while marriage matters deeply to God, it’s not ultimate; His priority is always transformation and redemption. We’ll also talk about the signs of when marriage becomes an idol—when image starts to matter more than intimacy.


Ultimately, remember this truth: Jesus died to redeem you, not to preserve an image of perfection.
